Maybe a date, finally?

After insisting that sonic frontiers It’s coming later in the year multiple times, we haven’t gotten a direct answer from Sega yet. That may change with a release date in the sonic frontiers gamescom Announcement, confirmed for August 23 during the broadcast of Opening Night Live.

The included tweet a new artwork for the sega game, and an ominous promise of some kind of announcement. Gamescom Opening Night Live showrunner Geoff Keighley promises “a new look and news” for borders, and at this point, we are reaching the limit. I want to say that it will soon be publicly playable, so all the cards will be on the table. If you’re interested, the Gamescom opening night live stream will start at 2 pm ET on August 23.

I’m at the point where I’d like to play the game and be done with it. Sonic cycles are often exhausting, especially when Sega provides little bits and pieces that don’t always look good, followed by the rush of reactions that are often marred by underwhelming performances. Sometimes things work out in the end! But I’m on guard after sonic forcesso I hope this new version of the formula will bring it.
