The many animals and NPCs of Skyrim are known for responding to the player in weird ways depending on the circumstances, and this continues with the recent release of the anniversary edition. A Skyrim The player has come across an occurrence as a moose and spider duo surprisingly come together to kill the mighty Dragonborn.
Reddit user The-govnah posted a clip of his adventure through the world of Skyrim in which they are attacking an enemy spider near one of the early locations in the game when a moose approaches with aggressive behavior. Usually when players are ganked like that, the attack includes one of countless random spawns. Skyrim dragons, but The-govnah’s video focuses exclusively on two less powerful enemies in the open world. Although similar attacks are occasionally accompanied by the appearance of the Messenger or the Madwoman, The-govnah’s character is killed so quickly that he was unable to respond to the moose’s introduction, much less to a suddenly manifested NPC.
The-govnah clip begins with the aforementioned. Skyrim spider that lunges at the Dragonborn as the player slashes it with an Imperial sword from the third person perspective, showing his heavy armor and iron shield. the Skyrim the player is quickly poisoned by the spider in the video when his sword strikes also set the enemy on fire, presumably due to an enchantment on his hand Skyrim sword. Just as The-govnah reduces this spider’s health by about a quarter, a moose appears to aid the spider, notably reducing the remaining portion of the player’s health.
Coming in with a single powerful attack, the moose at The-govnah’s Skyrim The clip kills the unwitting player before they can block the oncoming attack. the Skyrim The video concludes with the animals standing victoriously over the defeated Dragonborn as the moose steps to the side while maintaining eye contact with the corpse of his fallen foe as if still upset. It’s currently unclear why the moose and spider teamed up against The-govnah, since the player hadn’t attacked the moose yet, but it’s likely that the moose was killed by the enemies. Skyrim Dragonborn so easily because the player seems to be low level.
Although many of the reactions to The-govnah’s clip express condolences for the unfortunate timing of the moose attack, others compared the animal to a professional wrestler for how quickly it showed up just to kill the Dragonborn. A Skyrim fan noted the hilarity in the normally peaceful Skyrim elk defeating the Dragonborn so easily by suggesting that he should be the new Dragonborn after absorbing The-govnah’s soul, which is what players normally do after slaying a dragon. Other Skyrim The player noted that the spider’s venom may have been what ultimately killed The-govnah in his video despite the convenient timing of the moose’s arrival.
