The space video game continues to search for new frontiers between questions of when it will arrive.
Perhaps it is one of the news that you have read more times in 3DJuegos: Star Citizen breaks its own record of collection. The space exploration video game was, and still is for many players, one of the most anticipated productions in the sector. And it is, among other reasons, because of the enormous capital available to its managers to be able to offer an experience to match: $500 million.
The development of Cloud Imperium Games has marked a new funding milestone thanks to the support of four million patrons since 2012. This means having added $100 million in less than a year, since in November 2021 it was reported that Star Citizen had already raised more than $400 million.
As always with overcoming these barriers, questions remain among fans as to when a launch version of Star Citizen will be available. The video game from the studio led by Chris Roberts is currently in its Alpha 3.17 version, released in April with the sale of items, refueling between ships, etc. There is also no news to share about Squadron 42, the video game campaign.
All this long wait does not in any way prevent us from continuing to create a community behind which few releases can boast. For example, a few weeks ago we echoed in 3DJuegos the expensive gaming room of a Star Citizen fan.
If you want to know more about Star Citizen, you can take a look at an in-depth report on the video game by partner Mario Gomez, where he showed his fascination with this rich universe developed by Cloud Imperium Games.
