While the news of Starfield being delayed to 2023 has certainly been a disappointment, fans eagerly awaiting Bethesda Game Studios’ new space game have been tracking down as much information as they can about Starfield’s weapons. As you explore the stars, you’ll want a trusty weapon or two by your side, and we can expect a variety of types on sale for players to collect. A Reddit thread has compiled all of the weaponry images shown in Starfield media to date.
The weapons that have been shown so far are fairly limited in number, with only a couple of clear renders and additional weapons appearing in promotional artwork, including one showing large guns mounted on a defensive tower. This has led to a lot of speculation about the types of weapons that will appear in the RPG. The weapons shown to date appear to be mostly long-barreled weapons with a modern or slightly futuristic look.
Weapons are far from the only thing on Starfield fans’ minds, with Bethesda recently revealing Starfield’s first companion and the names of various Starfield factions. We also have some details about the Starfield cities you can visit on your travels, and modders are already gearing up to produce Starfield mods once the open world game launches.
The Xbox and Bethesda Showcase it’s happening on June 12, so hopefully we’ll be able to see some actual gameplay despite the recent delay.
