Game News Starfield Reportedly Has So Much Content It Would Be Difficult To Release In November
A former Bethesda employee was repeated on ResetEra. He revealed some information about Starfield, including that he thought the game had too much content to be released in full on the announced date.
While Starfield is due out in November, fans are looking to learn more about Bethesda’s next major title. On ResetEra, a former employee of the firm has precisely revealed some new information on the title. They are not all necessarily reassuring.
Too much content to get out in time?

The user Hevy008, former employee of Bethesdarecently posted this message on ResetEra, in response to another netizen who asks him feedback on his experience within the company :

Question: How was your stay there? Todd (Howard, executive producer and game director at Bethesda, editor’s note) is he as charismatic as he looks in an interview? And I have to ask, how’s Starfield? Do you think it will hold its release date?
Sorry for the bombardment of questions, lol
Response from Hevy008: It was a reliable and cool place to work, very secure. The engine (new engine used for Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI, editor’s note) is crap, however. Todd is a charismatic guy, for sure. Starfield looks good, weekly playtests are performed every Thursday since the beginning of the year, more and more things are coming online. The shooting phases give a good feelingthe flight phases are awful at the moment, my opinion is that it’s just not fun for me. Lighting and that sort of thing show up better and bettereven if it’s not on the level of Horizon Forbidden West or a game like that, it’s still a nice game. As for on-time delivery, well they will try for sure, they are going to remove some elements of what they have already done etc They have one content glutprobably too much, so that’s not the problem, find fun in the game and of course fix bugs, these are the real challenges. It’s a sexy release date and you only get one such opportunity, the beta is this summer, that’s when the picture of the game will become really clear.
He therefore considers that the game will have a hard time releasing on its scheduled date, the November 11, 2022, eleven years to the day after the release of Skyrim. That’s why he talks about a “sexy release date” that only happens once. According to Hevy008, the game is a lot too rich in content to come out full on the scheduled date. According to him, part of the planned content will therefore be cut before the release, so we imagine that it would be added via a later update.

Beta phases this summer
The authenticity of the source has been validated by journalist Jason Schreier, who confirmed that Hevy008 was who he claimed to be. The former employee of Bethesda therefore seems, if we are to believe his message, to have enjoyed his time spent with the company. It highlights the visual aspect of the game, and the gameplay of the shooting phases. On the other hand, according to him the phases of space flight would be well below in terms of entertainment. On the other hand, it is very criticism of the game engine, revised for Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. There are still several months before the game’s release. The playtest phases that are currently taking place, and the beta phases that he announces for this summerwill be an opportunity for the studio to further improve its title and ensure that it is well balanced and fun.

Starfield is due out on PC, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on November 11.
