In our Tactics Ogre Reborn release date and editions guide, we are going to share all the information we currently have about the upcoming remake. Specifically, we will show you when Tactics Ogre Reborn is coming out and what the different editions and pre-order bonuses are. Here we go!
When is Tactics Ogre Reborn coming out?
Tactics Ogre Reborn will be out on November 11 and the release date will be the same on all platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam and Nintendo Switch. the cheep who announced the release date doesn’t mention what the release time will be, unfortunately. If it ends up being the same time around the world, then the actual date may vary depending on your time zone.
As for what this new version will have to offer, the website says: “Based on the 2010 release, the game features improved graphics and sound, as well as updated game design, bringing to life a new Tactics Ogre that is stays true to its roots. It also promises that “Tactics Ogre veterans will experience a game beyond their fondest memories, while players new to Tactics Ogre will discover a game unlike any they’ve ever played.” Those are big promises, to say the least, and I don’t trust Square Enix to deliver on them. I hope they prove me wrong.
Tactics Ogre Reborn editions and pre-order bonuses
Now that we know the release date for Tactics Ogre Reborn, let’s dive into the different editions and pre-order bonuses. The Standard Edition, which includes just the game, will cost $50. It comes in digital and physical format. The first will be available on PlayStation and Steam, and the second on PlayStation and Switch. If you pre-order, you’ll get “a selection of three songs from the Tactics Ogre: Reborn Original Soundtrack.”
As for the Digital Premium Edition, it will only be available on PlayStation and Steam, according to the official website. It will cost $60 and comes with the complete Tactics Ogre: Reborn Original Soundtrack. As for the pre-order bonus, you’ll get the Tactics Ogre (1995) digital mini soundtrack. So, it’s not much, but it’s ok.
