Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival Coming to Nintendo Switch This September

Earlier this year, Bandai Namco announced that it would release Taiko no Tatsujin: Festival of Rhythm sometime this year on Nintendo Switch.

Now, in an update, it is confirmed that the game will arrive on September 23 worldwide. As mentioned above, 76 songs will be included, plus an in-game subscription service, giving players access to over 500 songs at launch.

One of the tracks even includes an orchestral version of the theme song from The legend of Zelda. Here’s some PR from the original announcement:

“The last Taiko no Tatsujin The game comes to Nintendo Switch! Percussion with 76 boppin’ rhythms, including an orchestral version of the main theme of The legend of Zelda, as well as “Gurenge”, “Feel Special”, and “Racing into the Night”. Take on each other in the new mode, Great Drum Toy War, or host a live concert with friends in DON-chan Band. Additionally, a paid in-game subscription service will be available at launch that gives you access to over 500 songs. Drum to your heart’s content when Taiko no Tatsujin: Festival of Rhythm launches on Nintendo Switch in 2022.”
