You’d think Eric Kripke would be annoyed by his reputation as a penis destroyer, but you’d be wrong.

As just one of several events too hard to believe and too disgusting for the stomach of season 3 of Boys, showrunner Kripke put a shrunken superhero inside a guy’s penis for some microphilic sex. The wrong kind of discharge occurs when the little super sneezes and suddenly grows to its normal size, leaving the penis, and the rest of the man’s body, in bloody shreds.

Naturally, this scene stuck in the psyche of many viewers against their will, and Kripke revealed to Deadline that his son is no exception. “What the hell happens to you?” The 15-year-old reportedly asked his father about him after seeing the scene. However, the executive producer added that he loved shocking his offspring, and continues to take immense pride in both being “the guy with the exploding dick” and making the “biggest dick joke ever” (the penis support was 30 feet long).

“It actually brings me ridiculous amounts of pride. You know, I showed it to my 15-year-old son and two things. One is when he finished, he looked at me and said what the hell is wrong with you, which I thought was great. Then the next day he said, you know what, dad, I was thinking about that, you’ve pulled off the biggest prank ever. I don’t know. I can’t think of a bigger, more expensive cock prank. So, you know, I think it might be something that I would be very comfortable with on my tombstone.”

“Here lies Eric Kripke, The Exploding Dick Guy” sounds pretty good.
