Now that the premiere of Thor: love and thunder The verdict is in, and it looks like Marvel has struck gold once again with another fun and vibrant adventure directed by Taika Waititi.

Thor: love and thunder has received many positive early reactions from critics who were able to see the film upon its release. Some of these praised the film’s stars, noting Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor, and Christian Bale as the film’s villain, Gorr the God Butcher.

Of course, Chris Hemsworth has also received his fair share of praise again by providing what is by all accounts a stellar performance as the God of Thunder.

Outside of the actor’s performances, the overall feel and visuals of the film were unanimously loved, which shouldn’t be too surprising given the signature style Waititi brought to the franchise when he took over. Thor: Ragnarök.

While there are similarities between these two films, Jacob Kleinman of reversedotcom says that love and thunder it is much more emotionally mature than its predecessor.

The journalist Eric Italiano said that the movie is the funniest movie in the MCU thus far with excellent jokes delivered perfectly by the cast of the movie. However, he did share some criticism of the film, sharing his thoughts that the plot had nothing at stake.
