While the iPhone 14 range has still not been formalized by Apple, the next generation, scheduled for 2023, is already making headlines. Today, the photo module of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the center of attention.
Apple will formalize its new generation of iPhone at the start of the school year: the iPhone 14 range is eagerly awaited and information has, of course, generously leaked about him. We know in particular that Apple intends to abandon the iPhone Mini to focus on two sizes of terminals, 6.1 and 6.7 inches.
But today, it is not the iPhone 14 and its congeners who are talking about them, but iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is therefore an iOS terminal that will not be released before 2023, but unsurprisingly, Apple is already actively working on it. And the Cupertino company could finally offer something new regarding the photo module of its smartphone stamped Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max preferred for the photo
Last June, we mentioned a rumor concerning the photo part of the iPhone 15 range, and in particular the fact that these future smartphones would be equipped with a more efficient telephoto lens than those offered on these previous ranges. The iPhone 13 Pro Max only has a 3x optical zoomwhich is very low compared to what the competition offers.
Today, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, already at the origin of dozens of information leaks around Apple products, gives some additional details on the strategy that the company has decided to adopt. Indeed, he argues that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be equipped with a periscopic lensand that it would be the only one of this generation of iPhone to benefit from it.

The periscopic lens has a simple promise: that ofoffer an optical zoom of a quality far superior to that of a conventional telephoto lens, while taking up little space due to its horizontal design. What to ensure the iPhone 15 Pro Max a comfortable update.
Towards iPhone 15s that are very different from each other?
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will, as usual, be the most expensive smartphone in the range. The fact that it benefits from new features would therefore not be surprising.. If it turns out that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is indeed the only one to benefit from a major upgrade for its photo module, this could mark a turning point in the manufacturer’s strategy.
