Engine swaps happen all the time, especially in the world of General Motors and Chevrolet’s immortal line of LS V8 engines. The third-generation Chevrolet Camaro shown in the video above features an LS engine instead of its original 5.0-liter V8. This time, it’s not the exchange engine that draws attention. Rather, that is what is happening in the cabin.
And cabin is an appropriate word to describe the conservatory of this Camaro. You’ll usually see a long, flat dash with a standard rectangular center console in the middle. Instead, this white carriage gets the full interior of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, just below the large center column. The seats are race-spec, the push-button start works as usual, and the driver’s digital displays are fully functional. The central touch screen also works, even displaying an impressive image of the vehicle.
Other Camaro details include 22-inch Forgiato wheels finished in white and rose gold. That matches the white exterior, which also includes some rose gold trim. The blue interior of the C8 definitely stands out and seems to fit the old third generation perfectly. Considering it all starts with a fairly modest 1992 Camaro RS that doesn’t even have power windows, the build quality is impressive, to say the least.
