Well into August, it’s time to prepare for the arrival of Gamescom 2022, one of the most important video game fairs of the year that, before its celebration, will have as its starting point the Opening Live Nightan inaugural event presented by Geoff Keighley that promises great news and announcements.
The Opening Live Night will be broadcast live next August 23 at 8:00 p.m. in the Spanish peninsular time, and it has been Keighley himself who, through a message published in his personal account of Twitterhas confirmed the first details to take into account to follow him: it will last two hours and there will be more than 30 games who will walk across the stage.
Sonic Frontiers and the new Unknown Worlds have been confirmedThese games include some that we already know about and others that will be presented to the public for the first time, although we already have one of each officially confirmed. Keighley has announced that Sonic Frontiers will be taught during the Opening Live Night, with a new look and news of the SEGA title, but also what will be shown Next from the creators of Subnauticaa new science fiction IP of which they will reveal gameplay.
Right after the Geoff Keighley event, the 2022 edition of Gamescom will kick off, taking place from August 24 to 28 in Cologne (Germany) and it will have the presence of hundreds of companies such as Xbox, Ubisoft, 2K or Tencent, but also with the notorious absences of protagonists in the sector such as Nintendo or PlayStation.
