News hardware The Xbox app is coming to Samsung Smart TVs in 2022

From June 30, you will be able to access the Xbox application on the Gaming Hub of your Smart TV 2022. Then turn on a Bluetooth controller, and access all the games included in the Xbox Game Pass.
Since the announcement on June 9th, it’s official! Samsung partners with Microsoft to integrate Xbox into the Samsung GamingHuba new streaming video game platform which will be available on 2022 models of Smart TV Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K and QLED and SmartMonitor.
Unveiled at CES 2022, the Samsung GamingHub finds its origin in partnerships tied with cloud gaming services like Nvidia GeForce Now and Google Stadiaand now stands as the only Smart TV platform to include the Xbox app.
All you need is a handle
Having fun with Xbox titles has never been easier. Launch the Xbox app from the Samsung Gaming Hub, connect your controller – Xbox or other Bluetooth-enabled model – and start playing.
The only prerequisites: a broadband Internet connection, a Microsoft account, and if you want to go beyond the game Fortnite or other free games included for everyone, a subscription to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to enjoy the hundreds of games currently available directly from the cloud, including titles from Xbox Game Studios from the day of their release.
From joysticks that you can use, we find for example the joystick Xbox wireless, gamepad adaptive Xbox, the controller Xbox Elite Series 2 or even the controller DualSense of the PlayStation 5.
