Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of March 20-24 suggest that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do her part to make sure the bicentennial celebration is a success. We’ll see Nikki meet up with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and other Genoa City residents to finish all the preparations for the big event.

Of course, some long-awaited returns are in the works for the costume gala, which is also part of the show’s 50th anniversary celebration. There will be appearances by Daniel Romalotti (Michael Damian), Gina Roma (Patty Weaver), Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) and more.

Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) was once a mother figure and housekeeper to the Abbott family, so she’s visiting Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) before the party. Since Mamie has become a world traveler, she will have many stories to share when she stops by the Abbott home.

Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) is a celebrity reporter who’s always on the hunt for juicy gossip, so she’ll come to the gala expecting a punchy headline, and she won’t leave disappointed! Nikki will dazzle Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in his look for the bicentennial party and will no doubt deliver a speech once the event kicks off.

This party is set to blow up eventually, so don’t miss out on all the action. The week of March 20-24 will also bring Victor’s efforts to create a proper place for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in the family fold. As part of that plan, Victor will try to convince Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to turn down Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) offer, but first he’ll need the cooperation of Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

The Y&R spoilers say Victor will have a proposition for Jill to consider, so he’ll make an attractive pitch and hope she’s willing to give Devon control of Hamilton-Winters again. That might be the only way Devon will consider letting go of McCall Unlimited as his safety net.

However, Jill will have to undo some damage later, so any deal Victor tries to make could end up going south. The lawsuit will go ahead no matter what, so Devon and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) battle will continue.

As for Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), their own attempt at family peace won’t work. Adam will be playing Nick, so that may mean irritating his brother about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and the baby.

Next, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will conspire to take down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for good, so the next phase of their plan should unfold while the bicentennial festivities take place.
