A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod revises the sounds of the game’s cyberware with those from Studio Trigger’s Edgerunners anime.
The mod in question, Cyberware Sound Overhaul, was first uploaded to NexusMods. (opens in a new tab) earlier this month, on September 16. That’s just a few days after Cyberpunk Edgerunners first released on Netflix worldwide, making this mod a very quick turnaround.
This new creation swaps out the in-game sounds from Cyberpunk 2077 for various cyberware mods, such as the Berserk and Sandevistan mods, and swaps them with the sounds used in Edgerunners. In a nutshell, you’re swapping CD Projekt’s sound design for Studio Trigger’s.
However, the mod is a work in progress. Berserk and Sandevistan may be finished, but the mod creator is also developing an alternate sound for the Berserk mod, as well as a complete overhaul of Cyberpunk 2077’s combat music, replacing it with that of the Edgerunners in the heat of the game. anime.
Cyberware Sound Overhaul may have been overlooked, but that’s all about to change thanks to CD Projekt Red. The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account gave the mod the official seal of approval earlier today, via the tweet below, praising the mod and urging PC gamers to download and install it.

It’s a nice gesture from the developers of Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 has gone from strength to strength since Edgerunners launched earlier this month, racking up a million daily players for a week in a row and recently breaking the record for concurrent player count of The Witcher 3 on Steam. As one CD Projekt developer put it: “It’s fucking good to be back.”
