In news that may or may not surprise you, a new report suggests that Pornhub gets even more visitors than Netflix’s favorite binge-watcher, and that’s saying something.
Even more popular than Pornhub, apparently, are the XVideos and XNXX adult sites, as well as the social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, and of course Google.
Conducted by similarweb, the report ranks the world’s busiest websites, as of June 2022. It reveals that three porn sites, including pornhub.com, feature in the top 20, surprisingly ahead of Netflix and TikTok.
XVideos single it enters the top 10, ranking 10th and racking up billions of views each month. The leading dog is (of course) Google, with YouTube a close second. Further down the list is the porn site xnxx.com, which comes in at number 12 on the list. Pornhub is not far behind, occupying the 14th position.
Let’s face it, we all Google Pornhub at one point or another. But on a more serious note, as we review the news that initially emerged in 2020, regarding the Pornhub website profiting from and enabling sex trafficking, the campaign launched at the time called for the closure of the site. When it comes to ethical sites vs. pornhub, choose ethical sites every time.
