Singer Damien Robitaille wanted to send a message of peace by singing “Give peace a chance”, because of the conflict in Ukraine, in the same room that John Lennon had used at the Queen-Elizabeth, in Montreal.
The Franco-Ontarian performed a replica of the song “Give peace a chance” by the famous British singer.
For the occasion, Damien Robitaille shot the video on Wednesday in the same hotel room where the couple formed by the member of the Beatles and Yoko Ono had stayed as part of their “Bed-in for Peace” during the Vietnam War in spring of 1969.
Damien Robitaille’s videos enjoyed significant success during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he posted covers of well-known songs recorded in his residence on social media every day.
