A Reddit user wanted this story to not just get stuck on the page, but asked for an animated or live-action account of Asajj Ventress’s ending. They wrote, “I love Assaj, he’s one of my favorite Clone Wars characters, and it’s sad to have to read a novel to find out what happened to him after seeing his story through the seasons.”
Fans seem to be on his side, with one noting that a place for the story might already exist in the Disney Plus lineup, with “We could get it in future seasons of Tales of the Jedi.”
The next series of shorts contained in tales of the jedi It tells two stories divided into six episodes. The stories follow two characters throughout their lives, Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano. It would make sense for a potential second season of the series to at least partially cover Asajj Ventress’ story.
Interestingly, these Star Wars fans could get what they want for a change. The Disney Plus series Obi Wan Kenobi he mocked Quinlan Vos as someone who was helping people survive against the Empire. With Disney mining the Star Wars dry prequels for content with Obi Wan Kenobi and the next Ahsoka series, it wouldn’t be too outrageous to suggest that we might get a Quinlan Vos series. And since Ventress dies protecting Vos, it would make sense for Disney to adapt the story if they make a Quinlan Vos series.
But not all fans agree with the original poster, with one fan putting their weight behind the source material: “Dark Disciple is probably the best book in the Disney canon. She doesn’t need a TV show. Read.” Sure, that might be a controversial take, but dark disciple it’s considered canon, and at least one person in the thread vouches for it.
Wherever you fall into adapting his story, one thing is for sure, fans of star wars, clone wars I want to make sure we haven’t seen the last of Asajj Ventress.
