Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced a release date for their upcoming action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The dark fantasy game set in ancient China will release on March 3, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S, in addition to a day one release on Xbox Game Pass. Like all big releases these days, there are a plethora of different editions you can choose from. Here’s everything you need to know about the different launch editions of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – Early Purchase/Pre-Order Bonus
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has an early purchase bonus for anyone who wants to play the game now or during the first two weeks of release. Purchasing the game, either physically or digitally, before March 16 will earn players the special “Baihu Armor”. Those who specifically pre-order the game digitally before release will also receive the “Zhuque Armor”.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – Standard Edition

Physical/Digital: Both
This is just the vanilla version of the game. Unless you pre-order or at least buy the game before March 16, you won’t receive any special bonuses.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – Steelbook Edition

Price: TBA, probably £60/$70
Physical/Digital: physical only
If you love collecting Steelbook versions of your physical games, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has one such offering. In addition to the exclusive steel case, this edition of the game also comes with two additional pieces of DLC: the “Crown of Zhurong” and the “Crown of Gonggong”.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – Digital Deluxe Edition

Price: TBA, probably £80/$90
Physical/Digital: digital only
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Grand Edition, the Digital Deluxe version of the game, will include all pre-purchase/pre-order bonuses where applicable, as well as the game’s Season Pass. The season pass features three different DLC packs, including “new generals, new demons, new arenas, new stages, new weapon types, and more.” You will also receive the Qinglong armor for owning the season pass. Finally, the package is completed with a digital art book and a mini soundtrack.
