Looks like the last entry to the Nickelodeon Kart Race The franchise was leaked through a Best Buy retailer listing. It will be called the sequel to Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway and will be released later this year on October 7, 2022.
That’s weird, right? Video game never filtration..! laughter!
Anyway, the news picked up steam when it was reported by a well-known gaming enthusiast. Wario64 and has since been reported by various outlets (thanks to GoNintendo for this one!):
As for what Slime Speedway will look like, we don’t know yet, but we do have reasonably extensive information on the game through the listing. Here are some of the highlights:
- The game will include a cast of over 40 characters.
- You can transform your kart or bike into boats to traverse various terrains.
- “Millions” of boasted customization options
- 36 different tracks featured
- 90 crew
- Multiplayer via local or online split-screen play
The first two Nickelodeon Kart Racer titles are available on Switch, and while we thought the first entry was a bit choppy, the sequel did a lot to improve on the initial attempt, scoring a respectable 7/10 in our review. What the third inning will be like is anyone’s guess at this stage.
Hopefully, we’ll get an official announcement about Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway sooner rather than later.
