Game News Xbox: In addition to Redfall, Microsoft on another unpublished Bethesda license?
In addition to Redfall, it seems that another first-party game is about to land on PC, Xbox Series X|S.
Roundhouse Studios, on two projects at once
Lately, Redfall, one of the new licenses of Xbox Game studios, has caused a lot of ink to flow. It must be said that after being postponed for several months, from 2022 to 2023, Arkane Austin’s cooperative game featuring vampires offered several gameplay videos, and was entitled to a reinforcement from Roundhouse Studios, a Bethesda development house made up of former Human Head Studios (Prey first name, Rune).
Moreover, today, it is obviously this studio that interests us, since it seems that it is on two projects at the same time. In addition to Redfall therefore, the studio based in Maryland would also be working on a new license for Xbox Game Studios, at least if we are to believe the LinkedIn profile of a developer.
A game exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X|S
When we look at the LinkedIn profile of Brad Fawaz, a game designer, we learn that Roundhouse Studios is working on Redfall, but also on an enigmatic title that Bethesda has never taken the time to mention.
Unfortunately, for now, this brand new production that will surely be exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X|S remains enigmatic. All we know is that the game has been in development for (at least) more than three years already, since Brad Fawaz has been working as a game-designer on the project since November 2019. In other words, we will have to be attentive in the weeks or months to come, since the Bethesda studio may well take the floor quickly to clear things up.
While waiting for news of this surprise project, note that Redfall is still expected for 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
