Y&R spoilers have been teasing Phyllis out of control for months. We have tried to find out why. We have tried to speculate as to why. We have tried to just accept it and enjoy it. None of that has worked. Which is why, to make all of this make sense, we’ve laid out the wildest speculation yet!
Y&R Spoiler Speculation: Mad as a Fox
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is crazy. But she is not crazy. Phyllis does what’s best for Phyllis. Phyllis doesn’t self-destruct. Which is what she seems to be doing now, working with Jeremy (James Hyde). Unless… this is all another devious plot on Phyllis’s part. Phyllis is not conspiring with Jeremy to destroy Diane. Well, she is, but not in the way Jeremy thinks.
Phyllis Summers: triple cross
Phyllis is letting Jeremy believe that this is leading Diane (Susan Walters) right into his trap. Only to then pull the rug out from under him at the last minute and ride to Diane’s rescue!
Because? So she can play the hero of course! Can you imagine the morsels the raven Jack (Peter Bergman), Kyle (Michael Mealor), Summer (Allison Lenier) and, most importantly, Diane herself will need to eat once Phyllis saves Diane from the clutches of the evil Jeremy?
Y&R Spoilers: Group Effort
The Abbotts will have to spend the rest of their days bowing down to Phyllis and singing her praises. They will never be able to say a bad word against her. And boy, will Diane be upset!
Spoilers for Young & Restless: Early Days
We don’t recognize this crazy and out of control Phyllis. But a deranged Phyllis who is using that to control and manipulate people? That’s the Phyllis we met when she came to Genoa City. And she’s the one we hope will raise her head and roar again!
